If your HydroSense Mattress Pad feels damp, it may be due to condensation caused by incorrect temperature settings. Learn how to prevent moisture buildup and care for your HydroSense system properly

Why Does My HydroSense Mattress Pad Feel Damp?

If your HydroSense Mattress Pad feels damp, it’s most likely due to condensation, not a leak. Here’s what you need to know:

🔍 Common Cause: Condensation

  • Condensation can occur when the HydroSense unit is set outside the recommended temperature range. It can also occur in Damp and Humid environments.
  • Recommended temperature range:
    • Minimum: 20°C
    • Maximum: 35°C

🔧 Care and Maintenance Tips

  • Air out the mattress pad at least every two weeks.
  • Hand wash the pad as needed to maintain hygiene and performance.
  • Ensure the room is temperature controlled for optimal unit performance.
  • Only power on the unit when in use to prevent unnecessary moisture buildup.

💧 What About Leaks?

  • It is unlikely that the dampness is caused by a leak.
  • The HydroSense system uses high-grade surgical silicone tubing, which is highly durable and leak-resistant.
